Is screen protector necessary for your smartphone?
Smartphones aren’t cheap and what you don’t want is to be in the situation where you have spent hundreds of dollars on it only because of scratching the screen in a few days of purchase. At a slight drop or by mishandling or by mere carelessness, the screen is bound to crack or shatter. And a cracked or shattered display looks awful and may also malfunction.

A screen protector protects your phone from scratches and in doing so; it keeps your phone as safe from scratches as it possibly can be.
Even the iPhone is very well protected by shatterproof glass even before arriving in the consumer’s hand. However, users still feel like their iPhones need extra protection. The shatterproof glass or corning gorilla glass is scratch resistant and can withstand scratches from daily use like keys and coins.
Types of screen protector:
- Tempered glass – It Offers decent protection against impact as well as scratches. It provides extreme impact and scratch protection. Responsive sensitivity enables operating precisely like the original device. Ultra optically clarity provides a crystal clear viewing.
- PET plastic – Generally covers basic scratch protection.
a. PET screen protectors provide the least amount of scratch and impact protection, but they're super cheap, light, and thin and as a result, are less visible once applied to your phone.
b. PET is also a bit stiff, so it can't go edge-to-edge on phones with curved screens like the iPhone. - TPU plastic – Scratch protection only.
TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is chemically-enhanced plastic with properties including scratch resistance, oil and grease resistance, increased toughness and elasticity. Slight elasticity allows it to absorb non-extreme impacts, such as most drops and light scratches. It will usually leave just a small dent in the plastic, which would slowly regain the shape. - Nano Liquid
Liquid Glass Shield is a highly durable, flexible, super smooth, breathable and 'Super Phobic' coating. Being 'Super Phobic' means that it repels oil, water, and dry soiling. Dry dirt will not stick to the treated surface and liquids such as red wine, or coffee, are unable to penetrate the coating on fabrics. - Multi-layered screen protectorVery durable and can withstand significant amounts of shock.

How To Apply It?
There are a couple of ways you can install a glass screen protector: dry mounting and wet mounting.
- Dry Mounting (you’ll need a squeegee)
Open the sticky side of the screen protector and slowly place it on the screen in order to ensure the right fit.
- Use the squeegee to get rid of the bubbles by dragging them towards the ends of the screen.
- Open the top side of the screen protector in order to enjoy your perfectly clean screen.
- Wet Mounting (you’ll need alcohol spray)
- Using the alcohol spray, clean the screen thoroughly before placing the screen protector on the phone.
- Just like the dry mounting method, place the protector on the screen slowly and apply the squeezer to remove any remaining alcohol.
- Leave the screen dry for about 30 minutes and do not tamper until it is dried.
*Tip: Do not add a phone case to the phone until 4 hours after installation
